We are experienced registered nurses who assist with the coordination of personal healthcare. We provide support with healthcare navigation, medication and disease management, organization of personal health information, and coordination of integrated care. As a team of registered nurses, we do not in any way assess, diagnose, or treat, acute or chronic healthcare concerns.
The objectives and goals of RN Care Consultants are to:
• Educate clients about health sustainability and prevention of further disease complications through assistance with coordinating resources to optimize his/her wellness
• Assist clients in understanding their health conditions and support clients in becoming proficient in gaining/maintaining their optimum health and functionality
• Promote communication between the client, client’s supports (i.e., caregiver, guardian, or other concerned parties), providers, community resources, and long-term support systems
• Connect clients to resources within their communities to support and to assist them in self-management of their health and well-being
• Assist clients with navigating their healthcare needs and being the best; they can be despite any limitations they may have

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.
Dr. Lee-Sherazi is from Baltimore, MD. Her interest in dentistry began after she chipped her tooth in the 8th grade. She was fascinated by how her own dentist had fixed it better than new. In 2003, she graduated from Nameless College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2007, she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at World University’s School of Dentistry, where she studied under Dr. Baltas. She specializes in orthodontia and oral surgery and is a member of the 123 Dental Association. During her spare time, she kickboxes and runs with her wife.
In 2007, Derek Shin earned his dental hygiene associate’s degree at Untitled Technical College right here in Washington, D.C. He started at Keene Dental in 2008. As a District native, he treats all his patients with the familiarity of a neighbor. He’s passionate about bringing considered, quality care to all people, and devotes a lot of time volunteering his services at free clinics. He loves spending time with his dog and watching science fiction films with his partner.
Maja earned her associate's degree in Office Administration at Nameless College. In 2000, she moved to Washington, D.C. with her husband and joined the Keene Dental team. She is a scheduling extraordinaire and prides herself in having developed the system that keeps patient wait time under five minutes. As an interior design enthusiast, she took it upon herself to create an inviting atmosphere for our office. She enjoys rock climbing, painting, and video games.
